Bao, was born in Yangon. Myanmar. Myanmar produces a wide rang of high-quality gems and precious stone. Growing up she was exposed to the beauty of stones & jewellery. Bao with architectural background have a keen eye for details, functionality and aesthetic.
What is the meaning behind Modèle Jewellery?
Modèle emphasises modern and minimalist jewellery.What truly sets Modèle apart is our unwavering dedication to producing jewellery that isn't just beautiful but is also versatile and accessible. Our pieces are designed to embody modern minimalism, making them suitable for any occasion.
How did your journey with Modèle begin?
My journey with Modèle began with a profound love for the elegance of fine jewellery. Growing up, I was continually enchanted by the allure and grace of jewellery. Over time, I came to realise that jewellery possesses a unique ability to evoke cherished memories, stir deep emotions, and instil confidence in those who wear it. That passion, combined with my background in architecture and love for minimalism, led me to create Modèle. It's been an incredible journey of self-expression through design.
What inspired you, when you designed the collection?
I draw inspiration from the world around us, particularly the infrastructure in our environment. Nature, architecture, and various forms influence my creative process. Whether it's the perfect symmetry of a leaf or the elegant lines of a building, I see beauty in simplicity. It's this appreciation for the world's design that guides our collections and our design aims to capture that beauty and bring it into your everyday life.
If you could only choose 1 item from Modele Jewellery to use for the rest of your life, which would it be?
That's a tough choice! But if I had to pick one, it would undoubtedly be our "Petite Diamond Bezel Studs.” Its timeless design effortlessly complements any attire, whether you're dressing up or keeping it casual. These earrings offer versatility that suits a lifetime of style.
