Yes, leather is a material that will naturally stretch over time and will mould to your feet. We believe a fitted shoe should feel nothing more than "comfortable and snug". Can the shoes get wet? It's best not to! The main issue arises when the leather dries after it gets wet.  As the water dries, it draws out the natural oil of the leather, losing its supple quality which makes it brittle.  If you do get caught by surprise in the rain, fret not! How do I get the right fit for the loafers?

1) Finger Test How much room should you have in your shoes? Slide your index finger between your heel and the heel of your shoes. Your finger should fit snugly, but not too tight or loose. If it is tight, chances are you need a bigger size, and if it is loose, chances are you need a small size.  2) Walk around in the shoes  To check the fit and comfort. Ensure they don't rub anywhere.
